The Elizabeth line crosses London from Reading and Heathrow in the west, through the new tunnels under the West End and the City, to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east: 41 stations and over 100 km of railway. Paddington on the Elizabeth line map

Paddington is where the western branches enter the central tunnels. The cathedral-scale Elizabeth line station sits beside Brunel's train shed, with the Bakerloo, Circle and District lines upstairs.

Heathrow on the Elizabeth line map

The Elizabeth line serves Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 directly, with through trains to central London that are faster than the Piccadilly line.

Canary Wharf on the Elizabeth line map

Canary Wharf sits on the Abbey Wood branch beneath a landmark rooftop garden, one stop from Whitechapel and with the Jubilee line and DLR alongside.

Stratford on the Elizabeth line map

Stratford connects the Shenfield branch with the Central and Jubilee lines, the DLR, London Overground and National Rail.

How many stations are on the Elizabeth line?

The Elizabeth line has 41 stations, from Reading and Heathrow in the west through central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.

Does the Elizabeth line go to Heathrow?

Yes. Elizabeth line trains serve Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5, with direct trains from central London stations such as Paddington, Bond Street and Liverpool Street.

Is the Elizabeth line part of the Underground?

No. It is a separate TfL railway, shown in purple on the map, though it connects with the Underground at many stations and accepts the same tickets and contactless fares.

Which fare zones does the Elizabeth line cover?

From zone 1 in central London the line reaches zone 6 at Heathrow. Stations beyond West Drayton, out to Reading, are outside the zone system with their own fares.
