The District line is the Underground's most branched line: 60 stations reaching Richmond, Ealing Broadway and Wimbledon in the west, Edgware Road via High Street Kensington, and Upminster far in the east, all meeting at Earl's Court. Earl's Court on the District line map
Earl's Court is the heart of the District line, where the Richmond, Ealing, Wimbledon, Edgware Road and Olympia branches all meet the main line to Upminster. Overhead departure boards on every platform show where the next train is going.
Wimbledon on the District line map
Wimbledon is the southern terminus of the District line, shared with National Rail and Tramlink. During the Championships it is the busiest station on the branch.
Westminster on the District line map
Westminster puts the District line beside Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, with a Jubilee line interchange deep below.
Barking on the District line map
Barking is the gateway to the eastern end of the line, with London Overground and c2c connections, before the District continues to Upminster in zone 6.

How many stations are on the District line?

Does the District line go to Wimbledon?
Yes. The Wimbledon branch runs from Earl's Court through Fulham and Putney to Wimbledon, where it connects with National Rail and Tramlink.
Which fare zones does the District line cover?
The District line runs through zones 1 to 6, from central London out to Richmond in zone 4, Wimbledon in zone 3 and Upminster in zone 6.
Does the District line run at night?
