Your analytics choice: We use self-hosted Plausible statistics and Google Analytics to understand how Last Trip is used. Before you choose, Plausible collects cookieless usage statistics and Google receives cookieless measurement signals. Accepting enables Google Analytics cookies and our returning-visitor measurement. Rejecting analytics cookies prevents Google analytics cookies and optional returning-visitor storage; Google continues to receive cookieless measurements. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with UK GDPR and PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).
When you use our service, you provide:
Our self-hosted Plausible service measures page views, traffic sources, general browser and device information, approximate location, and, after acceptance, custom actions such as using the journey planner. Basic traffic measurement runs independently of the analytics-cookie choice. We continue to honour earlier rejections made when our banner said it would stop both services, as well as existing Plausible opt-out flags. Requests to the analytics server include network information such as your IP address; the service uses request information to produce traffic statistics.
Plausible itself does not set analytics cookies. Separately, only after you accept analytics cookies, our website stores a first-visit date and daily new/returning classification in your browser. We send that classification to Plausible to understand repeat use. Rejecting removes this local analytics storage.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure traffic and engagement and to assess traffic for our Mediavine Journey application. Its behaviour depends on your analytics choice:
_ga and _ga_…, to distinguish visitors and sessions and measure engagement.Earlier choices: If you previously rejected under wording that said Google Analytics would stop entirely, we preserve that choice. GA4 stays off unless you make a new choice in Privacy settings under the updated disclosure.
Our GA4 configuration keeps advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation denied, and disables Google signals. Accepting analytics does not grant consent to personalised advertising or to other services.
Google processes measurement data under its privacy policy and data processing terms. Analytics identifiers and online activity can constitute personal data even when we do not know your name.
We use Google AdSense on selected pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites. Advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to personalise ads, subject to your consent where required. Loading Google's advertising services also sends request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to Google.
Advertising choices are separate from our analytics-cookie settings. Accepting analytics cookies does not grant advertising consent. Where Google's advertising consent message is displayed, you can accept, decline or manage advertising purposes and partners. Its options identify the participating vendors. You can reopen that message using Google's consent settings link at the bottom of the page to change or withdraw your consent.
You can also manage Google's personalised advertising through My Ad Center, or visit YourAdChoices for participating third-party vendors. These controls do not necessarily stop all ads. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's advertising policy information.

Our website is protected by Cloudflare CDN, which may process your IP address for security and performance purposes. See: Cloudflare Privacy Policy
Our website uses localStorage (not cookies) to remember your analytics-cookie preference. Google's advertising consent service uses separate browser storage to remember advertising choices.
Our analytics code sets Google measurement cookies only after you accept. It also uses lt_first_seen and lt_day_type in localStorage after acceptance. We store cookie-consent, the date and scope of your choice, and any existing analytics opt-out flag to remember and honour your preference. Other features and third-party services have their own storage needs; this analytics choice does not authorise them.

Choose Accept analytics cookies or Reject analytics cookies in the banner. Both options leave the journey-planning service available. Use the Privacy settings button at the bottom of any page to reopen the controls and change your choice.
Your choice applies to this browser and website domain. Clearing browser storage or using another browser may cause the banner to appear again. If your browser prevents us from saving preferences, your choice can only apply to the current page. With JavaScript disabled, our analytics scripts and consent controls do not run.

Which rights apply depends on the processing and its legal basis. You can withdraw consent for Google Analytics cookies and optional browser storage through Privacy settings; cookieless measurement continues under the updated settings, and this does not itself delete data already collected. Our website uses self-hosted Plausible analytics and external providers including TfL, Google and Cloudflare. External providers may process information outside the UK. Their published privacy and processing terms explain the locations and safeguards relevant to their services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
